  • Project Management

We often encounter situations where older properties through a lack of maintenance have suffered timber decay to doors, windows and frames. If the paint finish is not maintained over timber, water will begin to penetrate and ultimately create rot decay.

In many cases it is possible to repair windows and doors and we specialise in the use of buying natural materials and specialist systems such as ‘Window Care’ which is a conservation approved resin based repair conceal.

Where it is not possible to repair because decay has gone too far, we have a joinery workshop at our disposal to manufacture the highest quality doors, windows, staircases and conservatories in materials appropriate to the age and character of the building. This also gives us the capacity on top of the knowledge and skill to undertake specialist timber repairs such as oak elbow bracing for barn and timber frame repairs. We regularly use green oak or timber frame repairs in order to maintain the traditional look as well as correct materials of such project.
