Managing Director, Duncan Worboyes has had experience project managing renovations on period properties since 1999. He grew up with old buildings in his blood, with his earliest childhood memories of living in barns and farmhouse conversions. Duncan brought Suzy, the company secretary on board in September 2006.
When the business started to take off, the team started to grow from that point with the addition of Mark Smith, our heritage carpenter and joiner, and then continued to do so over the following years.
Our current team consists of a variety of skills and trades. Please feel free to read each team members biographies. As a company, Igloo has a policy on continuous and ongoing training for all staff members. The staff are always involved in the decision making relating to the projects being undertaken as well as having a valuable input as to the direction the company is moving in, and as a team we socialise as much as possible. We are really well gathered and work very effectively together because we are such a close nit group.
There is always room for improvement however, and we are always on the lookout for new highly trained and skilled builders, trades and craftsmen. We would like to think of ourselves as caring employers as well as competent contractors.
We take great pride in what we do and of the body of work in our portfolio. It has given us our reputation for quality above and beyond expectation, something we are committed to maintaining. We encourage you to take a look through our site and see the many different services we can offer to help you realise the visions you have for your home and property.
